This position is intended for the development of research activities within the scope of the project “LABOURMAP-MACAO – Impact of workers on public works in Macau during Portuguese administration (1849–1999),” funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology. Specifically, the role will focus on supporting the consultation and collection of archival information, including the documentation of public works and labor in institutions such as the Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino and the Macau Archive. In addition, the researcher will actively participate in mapping and collecting labor data for the creation of digital cartography, contributing to the development of spatial models and quantitative analysis. Finally, the position may also involve organizing and conducting field missions and interviews, facilitating the collection of testimonies, documents, and graphic materials directly in Macau.
